You just came back to “reality” from your well-deserved holiday and you’re confused, not sure what to do to adopt a healthier lifestyle?

  1. Get organized!

Don’t blame yourself if you didn’t keep track of the quantities on your holiday and enjoyed every meal, you deserved it! You didn’t miss anything. Now, to make it easier for you, note down your goals in a planner and organize your day based on them.

It’s a good idea to schedule your meal hours, on which days you exercise, your sleep schedule and even your shopping list needs a plan to… save your money. 

  1. Choose wisely!

Diversify every meal with fresh seasonal foods. Cut out sweets and processed foods. Choose to have three meals a day at 3-4 hour intervals. Eat vegetables at every meal and increase your fiber intake.

  1. Exercise!

Health means daily activity, whether it’s a brisk walk, a HIIT (weight loss) workout or any other physical activity that you enjoy. It is recommended to stay active for at least 30 minutes every day.

  1. Hydrate!

Try to increase your water intake. It is recommended to drink between 30-50 ml/kg body mass. Also take into consideration your physical activity, the room temperature and any physical conditions.

  1. Get some rest! 

Make sure you get a restful sleep. Stay away from your phone, tablet, TV at least an hour before you fall asleep. Instead, listen to relaxing music, read a book or take a relaxing bath. They’ll help you fall asleep easily.

  1. Practice intermittent fasting!
